The word "racecar" is spelled the same forward and backwardknown as a palindrome. Other examples of palindromes include the word madam, or the number 50605.

Palindromes can be not only a word or number but also a phrase or other sequence of characters that reads the same forward and backward, for example, "was it a car or a cat I saw?" The longest single-word palindrome in the English language is tattarrattat, meaning a knock on the door..

One s backwards

Racecar=racecar..... just like wow=wow, mom=mom, and noon=noon! All reversed and technically different.
