The advantages of entrepreneurship include creating a productive, functioning, up, and running a business. You get to control when you work when you take a break and when you are done for the day.

The disadvantages of being your boss are that you do not have an iron-clad guarantee for success and the amount of time and effort needed to run a business. Ultimately, these are not disadvantaging; they are challenges.

You have the chance to prove to yourself and others that you are capable of being a success if you make it. Working hard can often be its reward, and when you are an entrepreneur, you will have to determine what success means to you. You will also have a substantial amount of freedom when you are an entrepreneur. You do not have to answer to anyone except yourself.

Entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business or organization. The person who heads the business or company is fully responsible for their success or failure. There are various significant advantages and disadvantages to entrepreneurship.

A considerable benefit is a fact that you get to choose the work you are going to undertake. Your skills will have a positive impact on your earning potential. A disadvantage is that it takes a lot of time and energy to be an entrepreneur.

The hours may be long and tedious, and it has to be up to you to determine whether or not it is worth it. However, you have to remember that it is a trade-off. If you are squandering time putting things together, you can take an extended coffee break if you want because you are your boss. If you're going to work in your pajamas at home, you can do that too.

So, the fact that it takes up a lot of time to develop an operating business or company, the freedom you derive from being an entrepreneur can be its reward.

There are several things that are not considered to be the disadvantages of being an entrepreneur. One of those things is that you are your own boss. You only answer to yourself.

However, there are disadvantages of entrepreneurship which include;

a. Having a lot of work to do, until you are able to delegate work to employees and contractors, you will take on the responsibility of being the CEO, to the secretary, accountant, head of marketing, and so on.

b. A non- regular salary, your paycheck is dependent on the income you make, because it is possible to work several hours in a week and make nothing and it can be the other way round.

c. Encounters with the government, which is not so accommodating; entrepreneurship requires a lot of managerial work which happens underneath; you will need a business license, sales tax collection, and so on. If you don't do these it could attract fines and penalties from the government.

The advantages and disadvantages of entrepreneurship try to balance the risk of a fresh idea with the rewards that will ensue if the product or service is a success.

Forget the buck stops here and the pressure of devoting your whole existence to your dream.

• Being an entrepreneur indicates that you get to be your own boss.

• You get to do what fulfills your passion.

• You get to be the person who makes all of the judgment calls.

• You get to pull strings and engage in battle for the prospect of a significant opportunity.

• You get the chance to create a difference.

• When you are your boss, there is more of a chance that you will be happy.

• Entrepreneurs have the luxury of choosing to pursue whatever project they want.

Just as all good things in this life have their own disadvantages, the same thing goes for being an entrepreneur. This is no doubt, being an entrepreneur comes with a lot of challenges. However, I use to think the challenging part of being an entrepreneur is what determines a lot of things about your businesses.

Being an entrepreneur will require a lot of things from you, though mostly at the initial stage of the business, but trust me, those challenges can be overcome. However, the only thing I believe should not be considered as a disadvantage of entrepreneurship is the title and responsibilities that come with being the boss of your business.

This means you are not answerable to anyone about certain things. You also have the opportunity to run your businesses as you like without any interference from anybody. Just that you should be ready to share the bad sides of it all alone.

There have been many advantages of entrepreneurship for an individual and also the society when compared to the disadvantages. Here are a few advantages of entrepreneurship.

1. Employment generation/reduction of unemployment: Unemployment refers to a situation where people who are willing and capable of working are unable to find employment/jobs to do.

2. Reduction in Rural-urban migration: The burgeoning problems of urban unemployment and population congestion owing to the rapid rural-urban drift find its ultimate solution in the restoration of a proper balance between urban and rural economic opportunity.

3. Raising the standard of living: Entrepreneurship through job and wealth creation raises the standard of living of people.

4. Skills acquisition and an increase in the level of productivity: Employment generated by entrepreneurship can be a training ground where an individual acquires and develops skills for creativity leading to a general increase in the level of productivity.

Lastly, entrepreneurship gives you the opportunity to be your boss.

Entrepreneurship can be nerve-wracking, but an amazing feat to accomplish. It is taking the jump on starting your own business and working for yourself. When the idea comes to start your own business, there are a number of pros and cons to weigh.

On the disadvantages, there are many things such as having to work longer hours, having to create business ideas and plans, having to take on more titles such as being manager, associate, and HR. However, one thing that is not a disadvantage is that you are your own boss. For most, that is the reason for becoming an entrepreneur, so that would not be a bad thing.

There are some disadvantages to entrepreneurship, such as working more hours and having many different job titles.

On the other hand, there are many things that are not considered to be the disadvantages of being an entrepreneur. One of those things is that you are your own boss. Your business, your sales, and your future are in your hands, and you only have to answer to yourself.
