I actually worked for a gentleman who flew the ME-262 out of Berlin in the final days of WWII. When I asked him about it, he described flying it as Very Fast, great for diving tactics against U.S. air forces. He said, "If you missed, the P-51's got you." The ME-262 maneuvered like schiesse.
Not sure if I am remembering the number correctly, but I think he mentioned having 3 or 4 ME-262's shot out from under him.

Quite false, in fact I know a man personally who encountered the German Me-262 jet fighter. They were used quite often in the closing months of the war. However there was no jet vs jet combat until Korea.
