When most people see their dogs eating grass, they may think that it is because the dog is sick. However, dogs eat grass for many reasons. They may eat grass because they like the taste of it. They may be hungry and this is what they want to eat. This may also be what they have access to. Sometimes dogs need some of the things that are in grass. They may not be getting those minerals from their dog food.

So, they may eat grass instead. The most common reason is if the dogs’ stomachs are hurting. In this case, the dogs will eat grass quickly and a lot of it. Otherwise, the dogs will only eat grass in a slow pace.
