I am an only child, and I was adopted, and my adoptive parents think of me as their own. They are Mom and Dad to me and they are both very loving and supportive. They have always encouraged me to write, which is what I went to college to be able to do. We have two cats, Columbus, and Sassafras. My mother's side of the family, a lot of them are artistic and creative.
They are also all very close to each other and family gatherings are commonplace. On my dad's side, my grandfather was notorious for his family barbeques in which all sides of his family would come from all over to my grandfather's ranch. Also, both my mom's side and my dad's side live in Maryland. They are all crab eaters.
