Many of the Green bay Packers football players locked arms during the playing of the national anthem to show their protest of the national anthem in response to the recent protests in the NFL against racism. In their recent game against the Chicago bears many players as well as coaches and team owners decided to lock arms ather than kneel.
The same thing half true for players on the Chicago Bears team. Many fans also joined in as well locking arms during the national anthem. The team had already issued a statement prior to the game that this was their plan.
