Nurses will give clients the wrong medication, but it most likely does not happen very often. It is unrealistic to think that nurses never make mistakes. They are human just like everyone else and everyone else makes mistakes.
However, it is always important when someone makes a mistake on the job to see what they do afterward. If they have a great procedure when a mistake is made and the nurse follows through with it, then that is the best thing.
