In order to boil about four lobster tails, you will need to bring 6 cups of salted water to boiling in a pot. Once the water is boiling add the lobster tails and boil them for about 8 to 12 minutes. You will know that they are done when the shell turns bright red and the meat is tender when poked with a fork.
For added flavor you can consider boiling the tails with slices of lemon or other seasonings. After they are finished boiling and you are preparing to eat them you might also like to pour some melted butter over them or garnish them with something like fresh parsley.
