It may seem like a difficult task that is out of the skill range of the average person to build a robot at home but anyone with the desire and drive to do so can succeed at building their own robot. First you must gather the materials for your robot. These include things like a microcontroller, wheels, a motherboard, sensors, batteries, wires, and hot glue or double sided tape. Depending on the type of robot you want to make your supply list might vary slightly.
Next you'll assemble all the inner components and wire your robot for electricity. I suggest watching video tutorials to help you with the technical parts of assembly. After the inner parts are assembled and wired up you can put an outer shell on the robot. This is where you can really get creative with how you'd like your robot to look. After everything is finished try out your new creation and have fun with it.
