This seems to be more of an application of something that a direct question. I mean, I have a student number, but I’m not going to share it. However, this could be a stimulus-response question, in which case, you would want Edward Thorndike. He did work on stimulus-response and stimulus while he worked in psychology.
He thought that intelligence wasn’t community-based, but instead was something that was done on an individual level. In fact, he became known for his experiments with trial and error (the “cats in a puzzle box” experiment) and his experiments with stimulus-response. This sounds like it is supposed to be a stimulus-response question, as I’ve already noted, since remembering your student number would be a stimulus.
