One of the first things you need to know about Excel is that it is easier to use than it looks. One of the coolest things you can do with Excel is make it do the math for you. There’s a “function” button, and you can pick various functions - input, output; function of x; sums; etc. You can also insert new rows, spanning every column you have, by highlighting the rows you want to add above. Right click for the menu, and click “insert new rows”; how many rows you highlight will determine how many rows are added.
