Mariah Carey turned 48 last March. She was born on March 27, 1970 in Huntington, New York and she rose to fame in 1990 when she released her debut single entitled "Vision of Love" from her debut album entitled Mariah Carey which contained other songs such as I Don’t Wanna Cry, Someday, There’s Got to Be a Way, and Love Takes Time.
She released her second album entitled Emotions on September 17, 1991 which contained songs such as Emotions, Can’t Let Go, and Make It Happen. She then went on to release other albums such as Music Box in 1993, Merry Christmas in 1994, Daydream in 1995, Butterfly in 1997, Rainbow in 1999, Charmbracelet in 2002, The Emancipation of Mimi in 2005, E=MC2 in 2008, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel in 2009, Merry Christmas II You in 2010, and Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse in 2014.
