Parallel parking can be hard and intimidating at times, but this does not necessarily mean that someone who doesn’t know how to do it can’t learn. All you need to do is practice until you perfect it. If you are planning to parallel park, you need to look for a space that is several feet longer than the car you are driving wherein you can safely park your car without hitting another car. Once you find a spot, check your rearview and driver-side mirror to make sure that there’s no car on your tail.
Turn on your signal toward the spot you want to park and then reverse your car while carefully steering your wheel until you reach a 45-degree angle. Back up your car in the space and then straighten it out once you’re in the right spot.
