Burkina Faso is a country in Africa. It is located on the western side of Africa. It is rather small in size compared to Africa’s other countries. It has over one hundred thousand square miles of land. Some of the surrounding countries include Togo, Ghana, Benin, Niger, and Mali, to name a few. Burkina Faso has almost nineteen million people living there.
Many people speak the official language of the country which is French, but there are other languages there including Moore, Dioula and Fula. The capital city is Ouagadougou, and it is also the largest city in the country. Not many people live in the northern part of the country. Burkina Faso is a country with a high fertility rate.
