There is no specific reason why we dream. Dreams are hallucinations that occur during a certain stage of sleep. Dreams include images, thoughts, and emotions that are experienced during sleep. A dream can be boring, confusing, sad, joyful, frightening, vague, fun, disturbing, romantic entertaining and so on.
Some studies have shown a few reasons why we dream which include fear, depression, anxiety, and also increased tension of the brain. Some theories also believe that we dream so that the body gets entertained because it gets boring when you are asleep.
