So many different reagents are used in labs for wine analysis, it is easy to throw them away into landfill or pour them down the drain. This however is not only illegal but can cause environmental problems if they reach the a water course. Some reagents can be an irritant or flammable and can be dangerous if not stored and disposed of correctly.
