Born Aubrey Drake Graham on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he originally garnered attention as an actor when he starred on the television series entitled Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2001 to 2007. He played the character of Jimmy Brooks from Seasons 1 to 7 (as a regular cast) and season 8 (as a guest role).
