The cranial cavity contains the brain. It is not only the brain that is inside the cranial cavity. It may also include other organs that the rest of the body needs to survive. The cranial cavity is also lined with cerebrospinal fluids.
This can be very effective in cushioning blows to the head. This explains why people’s heads are durable provided that the force is not stronger than the head. Aside from the cranial cavity, there are three other body cavities that all protect essential organs of the body. The other holes are the thoracic cavity, abdominal cavity, and the pelvic cavity.
