Herb Edelman was born on November 05, 1933 in Brooklyn New York and he started his career as an actor in 1963 wherein he played Harry Pepper in the play entitled Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park. He then went on to star on different television series, often playing minor roles such as in The Reporter, The Nurses, Honey West and Hey, Landlord. He reprised his role in Barefoot in the Park in 1967 when it was made into a motion picture film.
He died on July 21, 1996 of emphysema at the Motion Picture and Television Hospital in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California and he was survived by his two daughters Briana and Jacy, his father, his sister, and his brother.
