There are a few herb plants that are poisonous to your dogs. So, if you are planning to grow herb plants in your garden, make sure you do your research first just to be sure if the herb you plan to plant in your garden can pose a serious threat to your beloved pet and companion. Spanish thyme is considered to be poisonous to dogs and cats.

It also goes by the name broadleaf thyme, French thyme, Indian borage, Indian mint, Jamaic thyme, Mexican mint and Stinging mint and can cause anorexia, bloody stools, diarrhea, depression and vomiting. Here are a few more: Bloodleaf or chicken gizzard and Joseph’s coat, looming sally or willow herb, carrion flower or Jacob’s ladder, fire weed, and great willow herb.
