It is better to eat fruits than drink them because of several reasons:
1) Fruits contain fiber and other nutrients that our body needs to function properly in our daily needs. Once fruits are juiced, they lose all those nutrients,
2) Fruit juice is not as heavy and rich as solid fruits. When we eat fruits, we can easily tell whether we are full or not, but when we drink fruit juices, we will then face the risk of overconsuming unnecessary kilojoules, and
3) Fruit peels contain different benefits such as anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic and anti-cancer properties.
When we juice fruits, they simply lose their fruit peels which in turn will equate to the loss of these helpful properties. Although drinking fruit juices is convenient, it all boils down to this single point: Eating whole fruits is better than drinking them.
