Welch’s fruit snacks are certainly marketed as a healthier alternative to other gummi snacks like gummi bears or gummi worms. In reality they are actually no healthier than those other gummi candies. A fruit snack is a processed food and this fact is the first red flag. What’s worse is that their main ingredient is sugar. This comes primarily from concentrated white grape juice and apple juice.
