What do rats like to eat?

They have a lot of favorite foods, and it’s not the stereotypical idea of cheese that is seen in all the cartoons. That’s a rumor that isn’t true. Oddly enough, they love bacon. That’s not all they love, but it’s something a lot of people have on hand. Other common foods they will love include peanut butter, cereal, meat of any kind, and fruits and vegetables. By feeding them only cheese, we’re actually depriving them of other kinds of nutrients that they need. We can’t eat only cheese. Why should we expect them to be able to do the same?

We shouldn’t. Therefore, if you’re trying to catch a rat, it’ll come to peanut butter covered bacon faster than it will to the cube of cheese you laid out.
