Food poisoning can put you in the hospital for severe dehydration, but most people won’t die from simple food poisoning. Some people have almost died, and a few have died, from food poisoning. However, these are the most serious cases, and are the rarest kind. Most times, food poisoning simply manifests as diarrhea and dehydration.
There are, however, few strands as vicious as E. Coli when it comes to ones you want to watch for. A lot of vomiting, diarrhea, and even tingling are all signs that you might need to visit the hospital. Certainly, you want to visit you if can’t shake the feeling that you need to visit a doctor. If you are incredibly worried, seek help immediately.
