Four hemispheres
The Earth is divided into four hemispheres. These hemispheres are Northern, Southern, Western, and Western hemispheres. Note that there are no physical landmarks that divide the earth into these hemispheres.
The imaginary line known as Prime Meridian at 0 degrees and 180 degrees divides the earth into these hemispheres.
The Northern Hemisphere includes North America, the Northern part of South America, Europe, parts of Asia and Africa.
The Southern hemisphere includes Antarctica, most parts of South America, Australia, parts of Asia and Africa.
An Interesting fact you want to know is that Africa is the only continent found in all four hemispheres. Also, the Northern and Southern hemispheres experience different earth seasons due to the seasonal tilt of the Earth towards the and away from the Sun.
