Homeless people often do not make much money. There are certain exceptions for people who do work a job but cannot afford to care for children as well as a home and therefore are homeless. But this is the minority of cases of homeless people. The amount of money a homeless person can get from begging varies so greatly from person and city and location.
People in larger cities are likely to make more money because there are going to be more people passing them on the street where a smaller city is likely to not have as many opportunities to ask people for money.
