Nobody knows for sure who is going to win the iron throne. This is because George R.R. Martin has not yet finished writing the A Song of Ice and Fire and the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones is not yet released. Fans can only speculate who will win the iron throne.
It may be Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow a.k.a. Aegon Targaryen, but this theory is still unproven because anything can happen in the series. Jon Snow may be chosen as the rightful king, but he may step down on the iron throne and give it to someone else. Daenerys can also sit on the iron throne, but she can die before that even happens. We can only confirm who will sit on the throne once the series has ended.
