Daenerys Targaryen is one of the main characters of George R.R. Martin’s "A Song of Ice and Fire" and she is portrayed by Emilia Clarke in the HBO series. She is the sister of Rhaegar and Viserys Targaryen and the aunt of Jon Snow. She goes by her title: Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburn, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Real, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons. There is quite a difference between the book and the series In the book, she was said to be 13 years old at the beginning of the novel, but in the series she was said to be 15 years old.
