There is only one plausible scenario that will happen should North Korea decide to attack Guam: World War III. North Korea has been vocal about its plan on creating an “enveloping fire” around the territory of the United States especially the waters of Guam by mid-August. KCNA, the official news agency of North Korea announced that North Korea is developing a massive plan “in order to interdict the enemy forces on major military bases on Guam and to signal a crucial warning to the United States.”
It also added that “The Hwasong-12 rockets to be launched by the KPA will cross the sky above Shimane, Hiroshima and Koichi Prefectures of Japan xxx They will fly 3,356.7 km for 1,065 seconds and hit the waters 30 to 40 km away from Guam.” It’s already October and it’s already past due North Korea’s lead time. However, should they still pursue their plan, then it will result to another war.
