Fast food will shorten the lives of many who eat it daily. Once a month is fine, once a week is undesirable. More than that is downright risky. You must know that the high calorie count, the preservatives and chemicals and inferior ingredients and fast cooking of them make fast foods a poor nutritional exercise. Why invite obesity, diabetes and heart failure if you can avoid it?
Advertisements do influence everyone at some point. Some fast food ads make people buy too many high-fat, high-calorie foods too frequently. This has a tendency to make people obese. Obesity is a problem in the United States. Obesity leads to heart disease and other medical problems. Children are also affected by this. When they see the fast food ad over and over again, they may beg their parents to take them to a fast food restaurant.
Parents may relent because it is fast and cheap to do that. In a way, fast food ads are contributing to the health crisis we see in the United States. However, feeding yourself and your children unhealthy foods is a personal choice. Ads never force people to buy anything.
