The only response that isn’t an advantage of having a web-based search would be that you can’t control who the respondents are. When you search something online - whether it be on Google, Bing, or Yahoo - there will always be paid content and content that is designed to show up when specific keywords are entered into the search box together. This latter option is achieved by something called “search engine optimization” - or SEO. It basically packs the article or the site with these words so that it shows up more often in the searches.
To be a paid content advisor, the site has to pay up for each ad shown on a search engine. This is where having really good SEO can come in handy for smaller businesses. SEO can be built right into the site; paying for an ad can get expense.
