Chocolate chips are made in many chocolate factories. First, the chocolate must be made. Cacao beans are gathered after they are grown. Then they are removed from their pods. Then the beans should be ground into a powder. After the beans are ground into a powder, it is unsweet. Sugar must be added as well as butter, eggs and vanilla.
While mixing this on the stove, a candy thermometer must be used to make sure the candy reaches a certain temperature. It must be mixed thoroughly for days. Then the chocolate is poured into molds or most likely a machine is filled with this chocolate. Then it drops a dollop of chocolate onto a smooth surface. This creates the chocolate chips’ teardrop shape.
