There are many different recipes and versions on how to make chocolate chip cookies. For the most part, if you are making simple chocolate chip cookies, then they include the same ingredients. Regular white sugar is the main ingredient plus brown sugar and soft butter. These things are combined together in a bowl with an egg. Then flour, baking soda and salt will be added to the mixture. This will create a dough.

At the end, the nuts and chips should be mixed into the dough. To make cookies, take the dough and scoop a spoonful out. Place a spoonful of dough onto a baking sheet. Keep doing this until you run out of dough. However, make sure that you spread the spoonfuls of dough apart so the cookies don’t run into one another. Then bake.
