In project management, scope refers to what is expected to happen within the business or project. Then the manager will define what should be included in the scope. A few other steps follow including the scope statement and assigning resources. Tasks are sequenced and estimated are gathered for each part of the project. Then the scope verification is needed in which a leader in the company or a stakeholder will approve all of the steps that were done.

Many things must or can be included in the scope verification including deliverables, project scope management plan and the WBS dictionary. The corrective actions are not included in the scope verification. The only part of this process includes the plan and approval of the plan for the business.

Corrective actions

Corrective actions are not an input used in scope verification. Corrective actions are steps taken to bring future performance in line with the project plan. scope verification deals with obtaining acceptance of completed deliverables. Inputs to scope verification include the project scope statement, wbs dictionary, project scope management plan, and deliverables. deliverables, whether fully or partially completed, are an input in scope verification. During scope verification, these deliverables are reviewed to ensure that they meet planned scope. The project scope management plan is an input used in scope verification. The project scope management plan describes how project scope will be managed and how scope changes will be incorporated into the project. AWBS dictionary is an input used in scope verification. a wbs dictionary provides detail relating to the activities defined in the wbs. The detailed project scope statement, wbs, and wbs dictionary serve as the scope baseline for a project. this scope baseline is used in scope verification to verify the work results of the project.
