It was Pillsbury who used this slogan.
The company was Minnesota-based and was one of the world's largest grain producers. It also produced other foodstuffs till General Mills bought it in the year 2001.
In 1957, Pillsbury began advertising heavily with the lyrics "Nothin' says lovin/Like somethin' from the oven/And Pillsbury says it best" for at least 20 years which became a well-known signature company for the company later on. It was repeated after a 60-second jingle from Pillsbury.
This is a very old Pillsbury slogan. It’s from the 1950s and 1960s, so a lot of younger kids have never heard of this slogan. Even I hadn’t heard of it, but based on the choices, Pillsbury makes sense. It’s the only one that requires an oven.
This old slogan was typically repeated after a 60 second jingle from Pillsbury. Oddly enough, it was still the little Pillsbury Dough Boy (who is actually named Poppin’ Fresh and has a wife named Poppie) giving the final line of the jingle.
Considering that this is the original Pillsbury slogan, it’s a bit of a blast from the past for those who grew up seeing these Pillsbury commercials. However, the tastes haven’t changed much.
