Anabolism occurs when the smaller molecules start to build up and become bigger molecules. You can just imagine what will happen when this process will not happen, it will be impossible for cells to start forming pathways and so much more that will make it possible for cells to start forming tissues, organs, and so much more. It is normal for the body to undergo anabolic reactions.
One example of this is when you will break apart sugar in your body so that they can turn into energy. This is also the same for fats that may be stored in the body. They may be broken down to turn into energy.
