Antibiotics are medications that people take to prevent infections. They also take them to treat infections after they have occurred. The point of taking the antibiotics is to stop the bacteria that causes the infections to stop growing. However, antibiotics do not treat everything. The disease or illness must be a bacteria-based illness.
Once people take the antibiotics, they may think that they can do anything. You don’t want to take an antibiotic and then do something that counteracts the medication. Usually, doctors will tell their patients to not mix alcohol and prescription drugs due to causing problems. However, alcohol does not affect antibiotics usually. The antibiotics should still work if alcohol is consumed, but the patient may feel differently or worse.
