Rubbing alcohol may be applied to take care of ringworm with certain success. To care for ringworm, soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol, and saturate the area of infection.
Let the area to become dry and keep it exposed if possible.
• Apply the alcohol two to four times on a daily basis.
• Ringworm is a mycological infection that develops on the top layer of the skin.
• It is a red, rounded itchy rash that appears in a ringlike form.
• Hand sanitizer is alcohol-based, so it may also be used for this purpose.
• Wipe a thin layer of clear unscented hand sanitizer onto the ringworm and allow it to dry.
• Reapply two to four times per day.
• It may sting and burn the infected area.
• It works to cleanse and dry out the infection.
• Keep using alcohol several times a day until it is gone.
• Once ringworm cannot be seen with the naked eye, you must continue treatment in that area for two days.
