Answer: a progress bar in the top right corner slowly fills up as the tests are completed.the five test types list one of five classifications for the status of that test. these are: no device found (only used with airport test and the modem test). in progress-the test is currently running. has not been run yet-the test is queued to run. passed-the test has run and this component works correctly. failed-the test has run and this component failed the test.when running either the quick test or the extended test, if any component test result shows a failure, the complete suite of tests halts. a failure code appears in the lower right corner of the window.
