Thomas expressed that she had seen the assault and that petitioner in certainty was the aggressor. She expressed that she had given false data before on the grounds that she saw petitioner "relatively like a guardian angel" to her since he had "taken her off the street". In a composed explanation she conceded that she had lied and that she would not like to witness anything to petitioner. She clarified that she and the casualty had been in the apartment on Breck Street preparing to have sexual relations, when petitioner came in to the room.
Petitioner was to a great degree furious to discover another man in his home. As the casualty was endeavoring to get dressed, petitioner hit him in the head with a crowbar and thumping him to the ground. As indicated by Thomas, petitioner continued hitting the casualty in the head until the point that the crowbar broke. From that point onward, Goodwin dragged him down the stairs and shouted that he was going to "execute him for fucking his sweetheart."
Thomas advised the police that Goodwin to request her to tidy up the blood and to toss containers of water on the floor. When she heard the police slamming into the entryway, she got unnerved and ran upstairs and attempted to move out the window where the police discovered her lying on the rooftop.
