How long does Camille give Simon to think about her offer?

Simon is a character in the fourth book in the series called the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. He is given an offer to transform into a vampire by another vampire called Camille Belcourt who gives him 5 days to think. Simon accepts the offer and seeks to become a vampire against his mother’s wishes, who finds out about it due to some blood stowed away in his closet.

Simon is forced to make his mother believe that she is dreaming and abandons his house forever, to live with a band member called Jordan Kyle, who turns out to be a werewolf.
