Leading lines uses lines to bring the viewer into, out of and around the photograph. When you look at a photo from a regular perspective, the eyes are automatically drawn towards the natural lines of the photograph. Therefore, if you modify and manipulate the lines in the composition you can affect how a person will view the image. You can manage to create a picture that either pulls you into the canvas or is coming towards the viewer or is a journey through the scene.
There are different types of lines that you can use to your advantage, including straight, diagonal, zigzag, curvy or radial lines. All of them can be employed separately to emphasize a specific part of the photo and enhance the photos composition.
