The one who wrote The Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men was John Steinbeck. Born John Ernst Steinbeck on February 27, 1902 in Salinas, California, he began his professional career as a writer in 1929 when he wrote and published his novel entitled Cup of Gold.
