Cinderella wears glass slippers in the original Grimm Brothers version of the story. This has held true through all the movie and stage adaptations of the story, with Disney’s animated 1950 version and live-action 2015 version being two of the most well-known adaptations. Broadway has even adopted the story into a well-known play. The story is well-beloved by many around the world, with Disney and Broadway releasing their versions in many different languages.
