Wilbur is a pig! This is the main character of “Charlotte’s Web”. He is a pig that the main female - Joan - decides to adopt when he’s just a piglet. He’s an average pig to her father, but with the help of the other animals, they convince the farmer to keep him.
SPOILER ALERT. If you haven’t read, stop here. Wilbur is meant to be sent to the slaughter when he’s fat enough. To the farmer, he’s nothing more than a way to make some money or some food for the family. However, the other animals don’t want to see him go because Wilbur has something special about him. So Charlotte, the character from the title, decides to make messages in her web to show that Wilbur is “some pig”!
