It covers the story of a boy who was living in a polluted are called Thneedville and his journey toward the Street of the Lifted Lorax wherein he met the Once-ler who told him the story of what Thneedville used to be before he cut down all the Truffula trees so he could knit a Thneed. The Lorax was adapted into a television special in 1972 and made a feature film in 2012 starring Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White and Rob Riggle.
