Who was the first Filipino that did a self-portrait painting?

Damián Domingo y Gabor was the first Chinese Filipino painter who did the first self-portrait painting. He was considered to be the father of Philippine painting.
Damián was born in Tondo, Manila, on February 12, 1796. He started his career as a painter and painted albums of illustrations of native costumes. His extra-ordinary painting techniques made him one of the famous artists of that time in the Philippines.
