A dragonfly is an insect that has two big eyes that are quite complex in skill. Each eye on the dragonfly can be found on either side of the dragonfly’s head. The wings allow the dragonfly to flutter and fly around. The body of the dragonfly is quite long compared to the rest of the dragonfly and also compared to other insects. This makes the dragonfly stand apart.
Within the first few years of a dragonfly’s life, it spends a great deal of time in fresh water. Dragonflies come in different bright colors. Dragonflies have nicknames in different parts of the country. They are called devil’s darning needle based on an old tale, snake doctor due to certain beliefs and horse stinger.
