You can choose your wheelchair if you are going to purchase one for your needs. There are different wheelchairs that are meant for different folks. For example, there are some that would require wheelchairs that are a bit big because they are big people. There are also some wheelchairs that are more useful for certain situations.
If you are in a hospital though and you just want to choose the wheelchair that they are going to wheel you in, you will not be able to choose. What your choice would be is if you would like to be brought from your room in a wheelchair or you would rather walk.
