There are many sections of geography. There are two main sections and then many subsections in those two sections. Human geography refers to the people and their influence on a region or area of land. Physical geography pertains to the land, landforms, terrain, etc. There are also systematic geography which was coined early in history.
Systematic geography refers to the interactions of the unusual occurrences that take place in an area. Spatial geography refers to the exact points on a location as well as the space between two or more points. There are geographic techniques used by geographers to learn and understand about an area. It is not necessarily a branch of geography, but it is a list of tasks performed by geographers.
